Our last day in the Finger Lakes region and we have yet to buy any wine... unthinkable! One of Susie's cousins, who traveled through this area on business, recommended a couple of wineries in the Hammondsport area. Hammondsport is located at the southern end of Keuka Lake.

The first winery we visited was the Bully Hill Vineyards. What first struck me about their wines was the label artwork. The winery had a large selection of red and white wines (see web site for more information). We walked out with a half dozen bottles. Our next stop was the Dr. Konstatin Frank Wine Cellars. The wines we saw in this winery seemed to be of a higher quality (at least judging by the price) than the Bully Hill wines. We bought two bottles of comparable wines for a "comparison taste." We have not opened any of the bottles yet so I really can't comment if the price differential correlates to quality.

After visiting the two vineyard we headed back to the RV Park and spent the afternoon relaxing. Another not so exciting day... just the way we wanted it.
